Altodigital’s senior management team has a wealth of experience from the IT industry.
Over the past 35 years the senior management team at Altodigital has been a driving force to ensure the company has become one of the most well established independent office solutions providers in the industry.
James Abrahart is the Group Chief Executive Officer and founder of Altodigital. James started his career as a copier service technician, so he fully appreciates excellent customer care and providing good service. James strongly believes that the success of Altodigital is due to their customer care programme and excellent aftersales service provided to the end user. James and his team strive to be the best independent digital document solutions provider in their field.
He built his first business, Interfax Systems plc, into one of the leading independent providers of office solutions in the UK. In 1995 he sold the business to Ikon Office Solutions, part of the then Alco Standard Group, a $12 billion dollar US quoted company. James is an active entrepreneurial investor, who has several businesses including property and sports interests both in the UK and USA.
Dave has been with Altodigital since 1987, during which time he has developed excellent relationships with customers across the region. Dave has been Managing Director for the last ten years and has extensive business experience and an unrivalled knowledge of the company. Alongside his dedicated team, he plans to continue to grow the business further and ensure Altodigital remains a dominant force in the marketplace.
Group Service & Operations Director
Darrell has been with the group since it was founded in 1987 and is accomplished in delivering extensive customer services, field service delivery, professional services and IT support. His team of over 200 technical staff is recognised as being one of the best in the industry. Over the last few years Darrell has taken more responsibility in the operational side of the business, so much so that it seemed an obvious step to move him officially from just service and add the operational part of the business to his title. Coming from a structured service background, he has moved seamlessly into this new role and improved many areas of the back office.
Group Operations & MIS Director
In Martin’s successful, 25 year career within the industry, he has acquired an impressive wealth of knowledge. He was previously employed at Ikon Office Solutions and Interfax Systems, and is responsible for identifying and integrating acquisitions into Altodigital, as well as group operations, business analysis, strategic direction, business modelling and developing common business objectives.
Tracey has been in the industry for 25 years starting out at Better Business Communications back in 1991; she progressed to Sales Administrator/Personal Assistant to the Sales Director and looked after a sales force of 25 sales people at Interfax Systems. Tracey has been with Altodigital since 1997 as Personal Assistant to the CEO, James Abrahart and the Managing Director, Dave Gibson. She was appointed Company Secretary in 2008.
Head of Finance
Wayne joined Altodigital in October 2017, having previously been Group FC for a large Consultancy business in Birmingham. Prior to this, he received his training at Compass Group, a FTSE 25 company turning over £20bn worldwide. Beginning his career at Compass during the financial crisis of the late 2000’s, Wayne became heavily involved in ‘Lean’ Production, specialising in process improvement and efficiency. He brings this expertise into Altodigital to ensure that as the company continues to grow, we are able to work smarter and more efficiently to achieve the best results possible.
